Wine Whisky Spirits Champagne Armagnac & Cognac

Port and sherry are fortified wines, with Port being produced in the Douro Valley in Portugal and sherry from the area around Jerez de la Frontera in south west Spain. While white and tawny ports can be served as an aperitif, other styles and vintage ports are usually enjoyed after a meal, with cheese and are sweeter and richer than most sherries. Sherry styles range from fino (the driest) to Jerez dulce and cream sherries. Many of the drier sherries make fantastic food wines.
