Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey is produced to US Bourbon production standards. The whiskey or Bourbon must be produced in the US. Over half the grain must be corn and the Bourbon strength must not exceed 80% ABV. The flavour of this distinctive Jim Beam whiskey comes partially comes from the charred oak casks. This happens as natural occurrence. The whiskey can be as low as 40% ABV. Jim Beam Whiskey is matured for no less than 4 years, which is two years more than the US legal compliance to be a straight Bourbon. |
