 Mackmyra is Sweden's first single malt whiskey. One the nose initiallyis fresh fruit, moving towards sun-ripened apricots and apricot jam, even some strawberry. On the palate there are fresh ripe sweet summer fruits fill the mouth, very round and tingling the tongue. Almost spicy but not quite spiced, but tingling indeed. Some hints of barley and white chocolate and bread dough. The finish is spicy and lingering, it really doesn't want to go away! |
