Aberlour 25 year old was distilled in 1970 in American Bourbon casks. It is full and sweet nose giving hints of toffee. Spicy undertone and thesignature sprig of mint. Palate is rounded and smooth.Matured in Bourbon wood it truly gives a malty delicacy.Well balanced with peat, vanilla, toffee, heather and fruit.Long and smooth finish with late spiciness. This whisky is becoming increasingly rare and sought after. |
