 Miyagikyo 10 year old Single Malt Whisky is from the Nikka stable. The Miyagikyo Distillery, founded 1969, is located on the island of Honshu to the west of the city of Sendai. This site was chosen for its pure air and high humidity levels which are perfect for ageing in barrels. The environment is similar to that of the Cairngorms in Scotland. It is the colour of golden amber and has a floral nose. The palate is sweet and sour with a dry and spicy finish. |
