 Robert Burns Blended Whisky needs no introduction or background. It is the colour of golden amber. On the nose there is a riot of sherry, almonds, toffee, treacle, hot sponge cake, banana kept under control by just a hint of oak. On the palate it starts with dry oaky vanilla, toffee and figs. The finish is light and medium finish with just a tantalising hint of spiciness. |
