Te Bheag (pronounced Chey Vek) is now unchilfiltered which means that it may go cloudy when cold but this only delivers a richer, fuller flavour with a longer finish as a result. It has a high malt content of 35% and contains Islay, Island, Highland and Speyside malts all 8-11 years old. On the nose it is fresh, with citrus notes and delicate peatiness. On the palate it is slightly creamy with a pleasing touch of liquorice toffee. On the finish it has a good length and a rich soft spirited character. |
