George T Stagg Bourbon

2012 release. George T Stagg is the Rolls Royce bourbon of the Buffalo Trace Distillery. On the nose it is enormous, dark, sweet and rich with hints of marmalade, sugar candy, and orange liqueur chocolates. On the palate it does not disappoint. It has sufficient spiciness and structure to balance the huge waves of sweetness. The orange from the nose is very apparent. It shows intense complexity. Long, sweet and lingering this heavy weight never disappoints.
