 Ardbeg 10-year-old is a single Islay malt whisky. On the nose it is peaty, oily, and salty. On the palate it has a certain sweetness which is then followed by a surge of oily maltiness. When this has passed the tastebuds are hit by an intense seaweedy and oaky complexity which finish with a stupendous assault of spices. A truly multidimensional whisky. |
