 Nectar d'Or is part of the brand new extra-matured range of single malts from the new-look Glenmorangie. The higher abv of 46% gives a richer taste, it is non chill-filtered for a luxurious mouthfeel and a longer time spent in the ex-Sauternes barriques give an enhanced wine character. Dave Broom describes the Nectar dOr as 'complex and intriguing'. The whisky is lemony, sumptuous and syrupy. |
