 Highland 12-year-old is from Scotland's northernmost distillery in Orkney. On the nose it is very complex and has honey, molasses, salt, leather and apples all sprinkled with a topping of peat. The palate does not disappoint, it is sweet and oaky with hints of acacia honey and peat. The finish is long and full of spice and and heather, the peat appears with a perfect partner of cocoa. |
