 Dalwhinnie15-year-old Speyside malt Scotch whisky has a sublime nose of peat smoke married tantalisingly with honied malt and a waft of melon. On the palate it is silky and intense all at the same time with a childhood memory evoking coating of barley sugar. Jim Murray has been quoted as saying in his Whisky Bible ' Know anyone who reckons they don't like whisky?Give them a glass of this - that's them cured.' High praise indeed. |
