This Chocolat Liqueur is made by macerating cocoa beans in alcohol. Over a period of many months the alcohol dissolves the flavour of the cocoa beans. After about 8 months the extract is separated from the cocoa beans and is then combined with an extract of Bourbon vanilla pods, sugar and a *** Cognac. A substantially larger amount of cocoa beans is used to achieve the rich flavour of dark chocolate. A liqueur for those who love chocolate. |
