Tequila Chamucos Blanco

Chamucos is made in Mazamitla, Jalisco, in the high altitude region of Lake Chapala. It is double distilled from 100% Blue Agave under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Wilfrido Ortega Casas. Wilifrido learned his craft at the Siete Leguas Plant under the watchful eye of the man responsible for creating the first incarnation of Patron Tequila. The original concept came from Mexican film director Antonio Urrutia and his Artist friend who designed the label in homage to the political satirical caricaturist Jose Guadalupe Posada, a legendary folkloric hero in Mexico. The Blanco is unaged and has fresh hints of citrus and spice on the nose. On the palate it is smooth and sweet with predominantly citric fruit notes. The finish is long and profound.
