Darnley’s View is made from a family recipe which captures the moment that Mary Queen of Scots saw her future husband Lord Darnley for the first time in 1565 through the courtyard window of Wemyss castle, and their subsequent union which produced an heir who later united the thrones of Scotland and England. It is hand produced in small batches using six hand selected berries, seeds, peels, roots and flowers. This produces a superbly balanced, London dry style of gin from a wholly Scottish background.
