 Cruzan Single Barrel Rum is lovingly created on the island of St Croix, residents of this island are called 'Crucians' and this is the inspiration for the name Cruzan. The rum itself is a blend of vintage rums which are aged for up to 12 years. The term single barrel tells us that the blend of rums is further aged in "new" oak casks for around about 1 more year before being bottled. Cruzan is a round and smooth tasting rum and offers an interesting after dinner alternative to cognac or whisky. |
