Mirtilli Toschi (Wild Blueberry) Liqueur

Mirtilli is a 24% ABV liqueur with whole bilberries in the bottle. It is made in the same way as its sister liqueur Fragoli, except bilberries replace Wild Strawberries. It is a delicate and complex mélange of various plum aromatics with blue plum, hints of cinnamon, gentle notes of almond and some very attractive floral notes in the background. It flows smoothly across the palate, and has a good alcoholic zest. The rich fruit continues into a long and lingering finish. It is an extremely versatile liqueur which is great served alone or with 20ml with Prosecco/Sparkling White Wine, sorbet, or simply drizzled over pancakes or ice cream…you decide!
