Briottet Violette is made from violets which are reputed in the treatment of the respiratory tract due to the saponines and alkaloids it retains which give it its emollient and expectorant properties. The amethyst blue, sweet and delicate essence of violet is extracted from the flower. Liqueur de Violette has many applications and can be used as a flavouring for sorbets and cakes. 1 oz vodka
1/2 oz Briottet Violette
1/2 oz Kwai Feh lychee liqueur
Pour all the ingredents into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then strain into a frosted margarita glass and serve.
