 Calvados Coeur de Lion Vintage 1970 AOC Pays d'Auge Christian Drouin won the Bronze Medal at the ISC in London in 2003. Double distilled. The 1970 vintage is marked by its aging in former port casks. It is a deep reddish-amber colour. It is remarkably homogeneous and dense on the nose, with concentrated aromas of biscuit, almonds and leather. This calvados envelopes the palate. A smooth, silky sensation in the mouth, leading to a generous, well-rounded finale. |
