Citadelle is made to an original recipe created in 1771 in the Citadelle distillery in Dunkirk, and includes 19 exotic botanicals, more than any other gin. They give Citadelle its unique, complex, finely-balanced flavour. The exact recipe for Citadelle French Gin was always a closely guarded secret, but the ingredients come from around the world, in the tradition of the earliest European maritime adventurers. How to make a RED GIN Cocktail: crushed Ice, 2 oz Citadelle French Gin, 1 tsp Cherry Heering, 1 Maraschino cherry. Mixing instructions: In a mixing glass half-filled with crushed ice, combine the gin and Cherry Heering. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry. |
