 59% Chardonnay and 41% Viognier. Both elements of this wine have been aged separately in barrel before being blended and spending 9 months on lees with 16% in new French oak. The result is fantastic with lime, dried apricots and passion fruit on the nose, palate has lime, vanilla and apricot and the finish shows toasty tropical fruit and vanilla. Awarded 4 stars in the 2012 Platter guide. |
