 Catamayor Sauvignon Blanc is an award-winning wine from Uruguay and has a great deal of class, due to its typicity and strong concentration. It's unique, with a full bouquet of tropical fruit and green peppers, and on the palate has ripe citrus fruit and melon. Bodegas Castillo Viejo was founded in 1927 by the Etcheverry family, who were originally from France. Today, the family run vineyards are located in the South of Uruguay, in the department of San Jose. They cover 130 hectares and all the grapes are harvested by hand. The Etcheverry family are pioneers in the export of wines from Uruguay. |
