The Miolo Family emigrated from Italy to Brazil in 1897, hoping to find new opportunities. Giuseppe Miolo was determined to make wines of quality and tradition. All of the Miolo wines are produced from grapes grown in the Brazilian Vale dos Vinhedos (Vineyard Valley) which was the first area in Brazil to obtain geographical indication, certified by a Seal of Origin. Miolo Merlot 'Terroir' uses the expertise of Michal Rolland from Chateau Bon Pasteur in Bordeaux, who makes this one of the most exciting Merlot wines ever made in South America. |
