Gosset Champagne is a renowned quality-focused house founded in 1584 and based in the Grand Cru village of Ay. Made from a blend of 42% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier, The Brut Excellence is a crystal-clear pale yellow. On the nose it is elegant and warm with very fresh floral notes, such as honeysuckle and wisteria. On the palate there are comforting flavours of ripe, fleshy fruits, such as peaches, nectarines and greengages. It has a smooth finish with hints of candied fruits, cinnamon cake and liquorice make a welcome appearance. This Champagne would be perfect with saltwater fish such as bass or sole. Also chicken or guinea fowl. |
