 Vintages of Pol Roger champagne are only called when all the climactic, viticultural and winemaking components come together to make the finest champagne. This is a full bodied, elegant champagne. It is composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. It has body and structure as well as fruity finesse. Winston Churchill prized Pol Roger above all other champagnes, and his special friendship with Odette Pol Roger led to the Prestige Cuvee (which is not the champagne being sold here) being named after him. |
