Armagnac Marquis de Montesquiou Napoleon is made from predominantly Ugni Blanc with some Folle Blanche, grown on sandy soil in Bas-Armagnac which produces brandies with aromas of prunes and on chalky-clay soil in Ténarèze which has aromas more reminiscent of violets. It is supple on the palate with strong flavours of peaches and apricots ending with woody and vanilla hints and a slight animal flavour. Packaged in a carafe shaped bottle in a gift box. |
