It was an enormous success and was christened B & B. Drier than Benedictine, B & B is the result of a clever blend that marries the vigour of old cognac with the subtle bouquet of the 27 plants and spices in Benedictine. 10ml fresh lemon juice
15ml Gomme syrup
15ml Crème de mûre
Champagne
METHOD: Muddle the berries with the syrup. Add the remaining ingredients with the exception of the champagne and shake well with ice. Strain into a tall glass over ice and fill with champagne. Top with crème de mure. Garnish with a long slice of English cucumber. |

| Myers Jamaican Rum is blended from up to 9 different rums and matured in white oak barrels. Founded by Frank L Myers, the rum has been produced since 1879 and is made from pure Jamaican molasses at the Monymusk distillery in Southern Jamaica. It has a rich flavour. Try a Hot Buttered Rum to ward off winter chills:
3 bar spoons Myers Rum
1/2 shot fresh lemon juice
1/2 shot gomme syrup
4 shots pressed apple juice
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
1 knob unsalted butter
top up with boiling water
Place bar spoon in a toddy glass, add ingredients and stir. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, lemon slice and whole cloves. |
